These terms govern your use of the Bineural app for Android, provided by Nomada. By installing or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. How your data is handled is described in the privacy policy.

1. What the app offers

Bineural creates and plays audio sessions with binaural or isochronic tones, ambient sound and music generated on the device. You can create a session by describing in your own words how you want to feel (with AI) or build it by hand in an editor.

2. Not medical advice

• Bineural is a relaxation, focus and wellness tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition, and it is no substitute for care from a health professional.
• We make no claims about therapeutic effects of the tones. Results vary from person to person.
• Do not use the app if you have epilepsy or a history of seizures, have a pacemaker or a heart condition, or are pregnant, without first consulting a doctor.
• Do not listen to sessions while driving, operating machinery or doing anything that requires your attention, as they may induce relaxation or drowsiness.
• Listen at a moderate volume. If you feel discomfort, dizziness or any unwanted effect, stop listening.

3. Use requirements

The app is not directed at children under 13. If you are a minor under the law of your country, you need permission from a parent or guardian. You agree to use the app lawfully and not to try to bypass its limits, tamper with how it works, or access our server by any means other than the official app.

4. Coins, purchases and ads

• Listening is always free and unlimited and never shows ads.
• Creating a new session costs 1 coin. You get 10 coins when you start using the app, and each rewarded video you choose to watch gives you 5 more. Your balance is shown in the app.
• You can also buy packs of 50 coins in the app, as many times as you like. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: it does not renew and you are not charged again. The purchase is made and processed in Google Play, which shows the price before you pay. Refunds are governed by Google Play’s policies.
• Coins have no cash value, cannot be transferred or redeemed for money or outside the app, and are lost if you clear the app’s data and no Android or Google Drive backup exists.
• The app shows third-party ads (Google AdMob) when you create a session or change a cover. We are not responsible for the content of those ads or the sites they link to.

5. AI-generated content

• Sessions created with AI are designed by a third-party artificial intelligence model based on what you write. They may not match exactly what you asked for, and we do not guarantee any particular result.
• Do not write personal data or unlawful or offensive content in the creator.
• You may use the sessions you create for your personal use.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its design, illustrations, sounds, music and code belong to Nomada or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the app on your devices. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse engineer the app, except as expressly permitted by law. Photos you pick as covers remain yours; they stay on your device and, if you turn on backups, in your Google Drive.

7. Availability

Creating with AI requires an internet connection and depends on third-party services, which may fail or be unavailable. We may change, suspend or discontinue features of the app at any time. Sessions you have already created are stored on your device and can be played offline.

8. Limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To that same extent, Nomada shall not be liable for indirect or incidental damages, or damages arising from the use of or inability to use the app, including those arising from not following the precautions in section 2, nor for the loss of sessions or coins stored on the device. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

9. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. We will publish the new version on this page with its date. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
